There is no limit on the amount of players you can register per team, however a maximum of 14 can only play in any one game.

There is a minimum of 9 players required in each team and a minimum of 4 females (or juniors 13 and under).

In Winter, you just need to be 9 years of age.

There are a number of people looking for a team. 

If any team needs players, let us know and we will connect you with them.

There is only one division offered in winter.

Monitor your teams individual registrations via https://manager.mysideline.com.au/  

The person who registered the team has access to view team registrations. Just use the same login information as your NRL Touch Football profile.

Not long now! Don't put off registrations, click the links ASAP and get both your team and your players registered! This will help us out greatly and will also help our administration side of things (entering votes etc).

RULE CHANGES from 2023/24 season

For the Wednesday competition in summer, only two A grade adult male will be allowed to play in a Wednesday night div A team and one in a family div B team. This ensures fairness for the Wednesday night teams but also allows families to play together. An adult for this rule is classified if you are 14 or over at the start of the season. Please read the local rules at the top of our website, in particular the changes made in blue.

No fill in players are allowed for the last 4 rounds. This is to ensure teams have enough players come finals and don't rely on fill in players throughout the season.

All teams must be in correct uniforms by round 5. This includes numbers on the back. Penalties apply.

Both team and individual registration is done by going to www.touchfootball.com.au. Sometimes you will have to search by the postcode instead of typing in "Geelong". Please don't register into "Geelong Touch Association" as you need to specifically register into a team.

Geelong Touch Football Association encourages people of all ages and abilities to join our highly social touch community in having a run around on Monday or Wednesday nights in summer, or Monday nights only in winter.

Games are held at King Lloyd Reserve in Newtown. ​

​

• All our competitions are mixed, requiring 3 men and 3 women on the field at once. We recommend two of subs each.

​

• Game duration is 45 minutes with games played at 6:15pm, 7:05pm and 7:55pm.

Touch is becoming quite popular with about 30 teams participating in our summer competition.

​

Wednesday Family division night can be seen as an entry level night with lots of kids playing together with their parents. Monday nights have a B grade competition and a more competitive A grade competition.

We encourage all players and team captains to review the local rule book located on our website to ensure your team complies with the rules.
